Our story
When we at Snjallgögn build forecasting models and the like, we use information about external conditions, demand drivers and more that improves the forecasts, without using personal data of any kind.
In 2020 we received a grant from the Technology Development Fund (Tækniþróunarsjóður) to build a knowledge graph for data science and AI: one place where companies and institutions can get all the external data they need, simply.
Detours of every kind made it take far longer than we ever imagined.
Now this new data service is finally live: Quick Lookup.
On this site, “Explore” shows a sample of the data: what's going on anywhere, on any day. Behind it is the data itself, which you can fetch into your own systems and give your agents through the API, MCP or SQL.

Quick Lookup is made by Snjallgögn ehf., an Icelandic company that builds practical AI and data-science tools for businesses.
